Join the beautiful and dangerous Valkyries of the Norse mythology, in this new ELK Studios release.

Valkyrie is a pretty suggestive title for a slot machine, especially once you see that most of its high paying symbols show off beautiful Northern female warriors, the ones that the legends of the region mention. The purpose here is to go through Helheim, Bifrost and then Valhalla, doing battle all the while. Freya, a goddess, will be your host from a position next to the reels. The graphics are excellent, with slightly taller reels, and with a lot of ways to win implemented. Symbol-wise, the slot starts you off with an image of Odin as the wild, then it goes to a Free Spins scatter, to a Bonus icon and then there are the four beautiful female warriors, the Valkyries. The middle symbols have golden gauntlets, wolf heads, swords and hammers, while the low positions have elaborate Royals, made out of metal and gems. I think you will agree that, no matter what the features and payouts look like, Valkyrie is already interesting thanks to its graphics.

It’s a decent-sized game area, with 5×4 reels, and there are plenty of potential wins inside, thanks to its 1024 ways to win. There are winning combinations which pay up to $400 on each way to win, an RTP that’s set to 96.3% and a good mix of features (wilds, free spins, scatters re-spins and Valkyrie features).

You’re allowed to select the bet for the entire game area, with a standard range of $0.20 to $100 available to you. The slot uses 100 coins, no matter what bet value is selected.

Wild Odin Shields will be the basic substitutes, which will help other combinations form, but that’s about it.

The Bonus symbol, scattered in three or more locations, triggers 1 respin in bonus mode, along with one Valkyrie feature that’s picked at random.

There are also the Valhalla Free Spins, activated via 3+ scatters. You have a minimum of one spin here, which has a Valkyrie feature active.

The Valkyrie features include the Sword of Destiny (1 to 3 wild reels in the middle columns), Shield of Chance (extra wilds added to the reels) and Arrow of Fortune (2×2, 2×3 or 3×3 colossal symbols added to the reels, of the same type).

It’s a fun game, with a good RTP, with awesome graphics and varied features, so it shouldn’t become boring anytime soon.
