Barbary Coast is a pirate themed game, but it’s done in the style of Betsoft, relying heavily on animations and gorgeous graphics.

Betsoft, the company that has designed Barbary Coast, took a topic that was already filled with pirate themed slots, and added one other for players to choose from. They did an outstanding job with the entertainment side of the game, with the graphics and the various animations that will be triggered and will make it look more fun. The game delivers a total of 30 lines, and there are features like scatters, a Click Me feature, an Explosive Wild Reel or free spins. As for the largest prize, the best one seems to go up to $1,500 only.

Betsoft seems to be rather fond of betting systems which allow for up to 5 coins to be used for each line, and with the denomination reaching a maximum of $1. It’s the case in Barbary Coast as well, and if you decide to activate all 30 lines, you might end up wagering with $150 per round.

There will be three major symbols inside, each one with some sort of bonus game to activate when the conditions are met. For example, we have free spins inside, which are obtained when 3+ Parrots show up scattered anywhere on the five reels. There are cash prizes offered at the same time.

Another feature to get will come from the Cannon, an icon which is needed just once on the 3rd reel. An Explosive Wild Reel feature activates, with the 3rd reel sticky for one spin.

Ben Sawyer, the pirate captain, will be another scatter, and once again we need these symbols in a minimum of three spots, at the same time. A feature called Dashing Sawyer starts up then, and gives you an instant cash prize.

Captain Blackbeard, when appearing 3+ times on an active line, will get you a Fight Bonus. It’s a sword fight, between Blackbeard and Ben Sawyer, and there will be a prize in it for you.

The worker symbol is also important, which brings you a Grog Challenge feature. It’s a drink off, one where you can once again win a prize.

Barbary Coast is a fun game, filled with bonus features, but which lacks wild symbols. The payouts are not very big on their own, but there are a lot of opportunities to get more.
