For the base game, you can rely on a wild symbol and on a scatter to be present on the reels from time to time. Frosty Wild is the symbol which has the wrapped gift, with blue lines surrounding it. This wild is a good substitute for all other regular symbols, so not for the scatter. When it appears, it also grants the player a re-spin. To get the Frosty Wild, with its re-spin, you need the wild to be part of a win. The frozen wild will stay there for one spin, while the regular symbols change around it.

Santa is shown as the scatter symbol, looking like he is on a postage stamp.
