Disco Spins Slot review

Disco Spins is a fun release from NetEnt, whose focus is on the 70s disco scene, using hilarious cartoon characters in many of its symbols.

Disco Spins will place the action on the dance floor, using images of cute little characters for its high-paying symbols. The dancers you get are dressed in 70s attire, they sport hairstyles of the times and they just look like they were cool back then. The style of the characters also makes them fun, since they’re not exactly well proportioned and they have heads about as big as their bodies. You have each one in a different color, with clothing and accessories matching. The colors covered include red, teal, yellow, pink and green. In addition to these Disco Dancers, there are a couple of simple playing cards, all in the same color, so they don’t steal any of the attention.

Expect to find 5×3 reels with 20 fixed lines that can deliver wild symbols, scatters and even free spins that will benefit from 3x multipliers. That way, a reward of $30,000 from a single combo is not out of the question, at least during some of the game’s features.

The way you set up the bet is by picking the values that will go into building a line bet, while the actual lines are going to be fixed at 20. You spend anywhere from 20 to 200 coins in total, with the denomination going as far as $1. The $0.20 to $200 betting range is one that allows the majority of players to find a value that they’re comfortable using.

The wild symbols are the Disco Dancers, but they act that way only in certain situations. You need the dance floor tile to match in color the dancer that is on it. If that happens, that Dancer is transformed into a wild symbol.

The feature symbol that appears the usual way is the scattered Disco Ball. This one lands on the last three reels, requiring for all three to be present in order to activate the free spins. Two choices are here to be made, between regular and Disco Spins modes. Both can be retriggered.

If you pick the 10 Disco Spins, you get only scatters and high-paying Disco Dancers on the reels, so the playing cards are removed.

As for the regular Free Spins, there are 15 of them and there are 3x multipliers to be applied to all your wins.

I think that you will find Disco Spins to be a fairly interesting game, with the theme being different enough, with cute graphics and several unique features.
