Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Slot review
Designed by BetSoft, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde is a modern slot machine, with 3D graphics, beautiful animations and an incredible amount of details that are built into its symbols and background. It’s a game with 30 paylines, which can offer prizes that go as high as $6,000.
The beautiful design you see in this game is inspired by the story written by Robert Louis Stevenson, called “Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”, and released in the late 19th century. The story tells you about a case of split personality, the two names mentioned in the title being two sides of the same person, one of them evil, the other good.
To get the game started, you need to decide exactly how many paylines you want to use in the next round, the number of coins and the coin denomination. All three options are available in the bottom left corner. You can take the coin value from $0.01 to $1, the number of coins from 1 to 5 per line, and the number of lines is between 1 and 30. A bet that covers all the lines can vary in value between $0.30 and $150.
As far as features go, the slot has a few interesting ones, starting with the Logo symbol in the role of the wild. As a wild it’s a very limited one, capable of only substituting for the Jekyll or the Hyde symbols. An added bonus is that it can trigger the slot’s bonus games, called Frenzy Bonus and Potions Bonus. Each one needs the Logo to have one of the two characters on both sides with two symbols.
It wouldn’t be a modern game if it didn’t have free spins to offer, and you can trigger them in an unusual way in this case, by filling up a meter whenever Red Potion symbols appear on the reels. To end the free spins mode, you collect Blue Potion symbols as the feature is in progress, but obviously it’s not something to wish for.
Finally, we have two features which start when Red Potions appear on both sides of Dr. Jekyll, or when Blue Potions are both on the left and the right of Mr. Hyde. The former gives you Wild Hydes, while the latter gives you up to 20x the round’s bet as a prize.
