Fruit Boxes Slot review
Fruit Boxes is a jungle fruit themed game, which is offered by iSoftBet and whose main character is a monkey.
Once Fruit Boxes loads, you will find that the game quite literally offers you boxes of fruits on the reels. The symbols are all box shaped, and on the front there is some sort of image painted, usually with a tropical fruit on it, but sometimes with things like bonus logos or explosions. There are a couple of very interesting features inside, which you can enjoy as you play through the game. You will use only 15 paylines as you do so, and the top payout can bring you $5,000.
It’s not the most elaborate design you will ever see, but it has its advantages, and the quality of the symbols is good. There is perhaps too much empty space between the fruits, so the symbols could’ve been bigger, but that’s about the only complaint I had.
The coin value button is a bit hidden, located in the bottom right corner, and giving you the option to wager from $0.01 to $0.20 with each coin you use. You have bets of $3 to $15 that you can use each round, for the 15 paylines, if the maximum coin value is picked. You just click on one of the five bet values shown in the bottom left corner.
One of the things that influence the way the game behaves is the fact that the symbols explode when they form combinations, and new ones will come in and take their place. It’s a common enough feature these days, and its role is to bring you more wins.
Should the Bonus symbol appear in 3+ positions, anywhere on the five reels, you will get a bonus feature. You click on Bonus logos, and you can win up to 50 free spins from them. The feature ends if you locate a box with spiders inside.
The Boom Logo is another scatter, but one that just gets you a cash prize, nothing else. Having 3, 4 or 5 Boom boxes on the reels will pay you 3x, 10x or 25x the total wager.
The final feature would be the Wild Box, which is the symbol which acts as a replacement for all regular icons, and at the same time it can bring you a good payout, of up to $5,000.
It’s the kind of game that doesn’t really manage to impress, but which is still worth playing, since it does most things well. This includes the graphics and some of its features, but also the top payout.
