Jumanji Slot review
In Jumanji, we see one more branded release from NetEnt, in this case one that is based on a movie.
Jumanji and the board game that is mentioned in the movie are the stars of this slot machine. It’s a branded theme which was chosen for release right now because there was a second movie that came out in the series. The actors from these movies are not present in this slot, but you do get symbols that show some of the wild animals that were part of the original. The image is shown from the top, so you see the tiles of the reels, the path of the board game going all around them, as well as several small monkeys that seem to be playing it. For the symbols from Jumanji, the selection includes multiple playing cards, while also delivering images of Lions, Rhinos, Crocodiles or Pelicans. If you check out its feature symbols, those have the Jumanji Board Game on one hand, and a simpler Golden Wild logo on the other.
You get a board game like feature, you have scatter symbols, wilds, free spins and random features, so there is a lot going on in this slot machine. It’s sporting a game area with 3 to 5 symbols per reel, while 36 lines are active. A big win in Jumanji can apparently reach 140x the line bet, or up to $2,800 for each combo.
I like games like these, where you have only 10 lines in the bet, even though 36 are active. You pick the level for the bet, which gives you 1 to 10 coins to use per line, and then you decide what the coin value should be, this one going up to $2.
Some of the used features are simpler, and that’s the case for the wild that is only available as a replacement symbol.
The scatters will also work the usual way, so if you get three or more there will be a board game feature triggered. You roll dice in this board game, and you move the token based on their outcome.
You get up to 8 dice rolls. There are several features that can be triggered, depending on the place which your token lands on. Four types of free spins may be activated in this feature.
The game also has four random features that may activate, giving you respins or various extra bonuses to improve your rounds.
Jumanji is a major production for NetEnt, and they worked hard on delivering a lot of features in it. The graphics are pretty good, but I’ve seen a lot better from this developer.
