Koi Kingdom Slot review
Koi Kingdom is a decorative fish and Chinese themed game, a combination that I haven’t seen before, at least not to this extent.
BF Games is the developer that’s behind the release of Koi Kingdom, a game that’s clearly using a Chinese theme. It should be noted that it also delivers a lot of fish related symbols, something that you usually see only in one position in most games. The Koi fish, decorative and quite pretty to look at, is then the hero of Koi Kingdom. You’re going to see this fish appear in red, green, white or gold, so there are multiple ways in which it’s celebrated inside. The slot will also have Lotus Flower Wilds, as well as some Royals which are made out of gold. As for the background, that’s where you see a pond that results from a couple of waterfalls, in a gorgeous garden that’s adjacent to a Chinese palace. A very enjoyable design overall, one of several great looking slots from BF Games.
With 5 reels moving and 20 lines for your combinations to form on, Koi Kingdom manages to deliver wins as big as $150,000 per spin. In addition to those impressive payouts, it’s also capable of giving us access to wild symbols, scatters and free spins, a regular mix of options which should nonetheless make the action more interesting.
For BF Games, the betting system appears to be a regular one, allowing for an amount between $0.20 and $50 to be used each round. For 20 lines that are always used, the amount going to each one varies between $0.01 and $2.50.
Feature wise, I wasn’t all that impressed with the available options. Wilds and scatters, the latter resulting in free spins, are the base features which you pretty much expect any game to have at this point.
First, let’s look at the Wild Lotus Flower, whose ability allows it to be a replacement for all types of symbols, even scatters by the looks of it. You use these symbols as substitutes only.
Second, there is the Gold Fish scatter, marked with the Free Games logo. These help you trigger 12 free spins, provided that you got enough symbols in place.
That’s about it for the offer made by Koi Kingdom. It’s appropriate for those players that prefer a simpler gameplay, but would love some unique graphics as well.
