Magic Portals is a fantasy themed game, which introduces a new feature that relies on portals to make things interesting.

The design of Magic Portals looks very good, and you will find it attractive, of that I have no doubt. The slot’s symbols rely on various images which are common for fantasy slots, including wizards, elves, the four elements, wolves and dragons. You will notice the two portals which surround symbols in the middle position on two reels, and which make it a tad more exciting. The slot has 25 paylines, and its big payout is at $5,000 only.

The game uses three types of symbols, all fantasy related in some way. First, we have three characters, including a redhead girl, a wizard and a blue haired girl. Each one has its own animal and power. The red girl brings symbols with dragons and with fire on them. The green wizard brings the owl and a thunder themed orb. The blue haired girl has the wolf and the snow orb.

You get 25 paylines to play with, and you always use them, there is no option to reduce that number. A bet in Magic Portals will start at 25 coins and can go up to 250 coins per spin. Depending on the coin value that you decide to use, the total bet can go as high as $250.

The game has two Magic Portals in place, one on the 1st reel, the other on the 5th. In each case, the location of the Magic Portal is behind the middle symbol. In order to take advantage of the portals, you need identical symbols to appear in those two positions. Both during the base game and during free spins, the symbols of that type will all turn into wilds, no matter where they are on the reels. A wild can only be used as a substitute for a regular symbol.

There is also a Free Spins Logo which can appear the same way, in the two magic portals. If this happens, the result will be a round of 10 free spins starting up. You can retrigger the free spins, by getting the same symbols again in the magic portals.

In Magic Portals, the players will discover a relatively simple game, which relies heavily on its portals to bring you features. It doesn’t pay too much unfortunately, and that’s a big downside for me.
