Mighty Arthur Slot review
Mighty Arthur is being offered by Quickspin and it is a game inspired by the stories that are being told about King Arthur and his knights.
Quickspin has jumped on the Camelot bandwagon with Mighty Arthur, a slot machine where the myth of King Arthur’s legends are being explored, though not in great detail. The images that we’re being given are those of the legendary ruler, along with those of Merlin, Guinevere or Lancelot. That’s about it for the symbols that are exclusive to this theme, the others being either the Royal cards or images of spell books, crowns and helmets, things that you can get in any other medieval slot. The design is as good as you would expect, given the theme and the name of the developer that worked on it.
There is no unusual layout here, you just get 5 reels and 20 paylines to fill those positions. Things get more exciting on the reels though, since those will have the Arthur expanding wild, the Merlin Random Wild and the scatter symbol that’s triggering free spins. The player is going after top prizes of $750 in this game.
The betting menu allows the player to set up a wager of $0.20 to $100, choosing from a list of options for this purpose. You just click on the right value, and the wager is set, along with the values listed on the paytable.
Among the features that you can expect to encounter in this game, the 3×1 wild that shows us Arthur is a major one to consider. It is an expanding wild, which you only get on reel 3. It will expand to adjacent reels and you can get all three middle reels wild thanks to it. This would give you 20 lines with combinations of at least four symbols, at the same time, so obviously it’s not a feature you can count on all the time.
Merlin is another wild, one that is also capable of covering an entire reel. Available on all reels, it appears and then it places as many as six extra wilds on the other columns.
Bonus symbols are reserved for the roles of triggers, giving you access to the slot’s free spins, with 10 rounds to start with.
Mighty Arthur can grant you access to some very cool features, and the graphics are excellent, but it doesn’t try to give you anything unique theme wise.
