Owls Slot review
Mixing the wisest birds of the forest with magic, Owls is a release from Nolimit City with a jackpot of 1,500x the stake that it can pay.
Owls relies on one of the most revered birds of the forest, for its main characters. Known as wise birds, often seen as companions of the gods or wizards, the Owls are the ones in the main roles for this slot machine, rather than as assistants or pets. You have various Owl wizards appearing in the game’s major symbols, each one using clothes of a different color, so you can easily tell them apart (red, green and blue). They even have a stacked version for certain features. In lower roles, you will encounter images representing the elements, along with swords, treasure chests and spell books. I enjoyed the cartoon style graphics of Owls, the quality is certainly quite high there, and the slot machine is enjoyable to play on.
You can expect for Owls to deliver up to 15 win lines each spin, and there will be 5 reels for their support. Some of the elements worth mentioning include the 96.22% Return to Player of this slot, along with the 1,500x top payout which can be achieved during certain features (only 500x in the base game). The big features have on their list stacked wilds and Dream Spins of three types.
The wager that you select for each round will have to take into account that 15 lines are present on the reels. The smallest bet is worth $0.15, while the highest value choice will be worth $75. The line bet will go up to $5 here.
Stacked scatters, landing on the 3rd reel and taking it over completely, will get you a prize. You also need other regular-sized scatters on the other reels, contributing to that same win. Add the wilds as well, and the prizes can take into account up to 6-7 symbols.
Should scatters appear on the middle three reels, the Dream Spins can trigger for you. There are three variants here, one of which will be picked at random: Ember, Emerald or Frozen Dream. The 3rd reel will always be wild, no matter what variant of the free spins you’re getting, but it is a different one for each version.
Owls looks cute and has a good mix of features, though the variety is mostly part of the same Dream Spins feature, not something that you get directly from the base game.
