Samurai Ken Slot review

Samurai Ken is an impressive release from Fantasma Games, the slot machine delivering comic book quality graphics.

In Samurai Ken, the obvious theme that’s being used is that of the Japanese samurai, and there is a main character present on the reels that fits the description. That samurai appears to be named Ken and it’s actually a tiger that was turned into a warrior. He fights scary looking dragons, the kind that you see represented in Asian legends, not the European variety. The reels are filled with violent symbols, showing us the dragon, the samurai, his armor pieces, flags and swords that are being taken out of their scabbards. There are no unrelated symbols, and the quality is among the highest I’ve seen, so I’m impressed with the game so far. If you go beyond the reels, the background shows the countryside, a much more peaceful area which is filled with greenery and cherry blossoms.

20 bet ways are available on 5 reels in Samurai Ken. You can win $7,500 from the game’s single combinations and you can get as features sticky wins, wilds, scatters and free spin battles.

You’re going to set up your bets for 20 bet ways, and you will have to start from a minimum value of $0.20, reaching one of up to $200 if you want to. The range for the line bet will be $0.01 to $10.

Any win that you get will trigger a sticky respin. This feature will lock in place the symbols which are in winning combinations, after which it will respin the reels and change the other positions. For as long as you get new wins, the respins will continue.

Scatter symbols will feature images of a blue flag that has a logo on it. You get the reels 1, 3 and 5 to land these symbols, and once you have all three a Freespin Battle will commence. The battle that goes on between the dragon and the samurai will decide the number of free spins.

A more typical feature for a slot machine will be the wild, a symbol with an easy to recognize image since it has its own logo. These wilds are only available during free spins unfortunately, and at that point they replace most symbols, but not scatters. If you get two wilds on the screen, then a respin will trigger and will continue for as long as you keep getting new wilds.
