Spinions is a game which Quickspin designed as a clone to the popular Minions franchise.

In Spinions: Beach Party, you’re getting a slot machine which tries hard to create a cute looking design, with a theme that everyone can enjoy. The popular Minions franchise appears to have served as inspiration, the spinions being Quickspin’s version of those cute and evil creatures. They didn’t get the license for the Minions, so they created their own similar creatures. They’re showing them to us as they’re having a party on a tropical beach. The game delivers 25 lines on 5 reels. It can pay up to $2,000.

The action in Spinions will obviously take place on the beach, where you can see a crowd of orange Spinions dancing to the beat of the music. There are large speakers, a DJ booth, the lifeguard’s tower and the gorgeous ocean, so you have all the elements to have a great time.

There is nothing wrong with the betting system of Spinions, being able to vary between $0.25 and $100, which is typical for a slot machine. However, it doesn’t pay as much as other modern games do when they request that kind of bet. You spend up to $4 per line, but at most you can take home $2,000, so a 500x return for the best possible combo.

The Spinion can be seen in the wild symbol, the one which can award the top prize that I mentioned above, of 500x. You get paid more often when a wild symbol is introduced into a game, since it can help you form more winning combos. Wilds don’t replace scatters in this game.

If you land a minimum of two Spinion Wilds, you will trigger a feature with respins. You get respins for as long as they can bring you additional sticky wilds. The triggering wilds are sticky for the duration of the feature.

The scatter symbol gets to land on the reels 1, 3 and 5. You need all three in order to trigger 10 spins for free. The image used for it is that of the Bonus Club Logo. The wild Spinions are sticky during free spins and the location changes from the beach, to a club.

Spinions: Beach Party looks like a fun game, one which delivers the design quality that you would want from any slot machine, along with a set of features that should make it a fun choice. I’m just not satisfied with the jackpots which it promises.
