Temple of Nudges Slot review
A jungle themed slot, Temple of Nudges is a game with disappointing rewards to give away, but with medium/high volatility.
Before we get to other elements available in Temple of Nudges, it should be pointed out that this slot machine has the usual high quality design from NetEnt. The developer did a good job in that one area, crafting high quality symbols which help sell this South American jungle themed game. The symbols you see inside will revolve around the representations of various jungle creatures, but in the form in which the Aztecs would’ve shown them. Monkeys, tapirs, sloths or leopards are part of the list of wild creatures that appear as stone idols here, along with various other representations of ladders, wheels or birds. It’s a good design, nothing to comment there, and NetEnt shows once again that they are at the top of their game when it comes to graphics.
The 243 ways to win which are available from its 5 reels are starting to become standard in the industry, as is the RTP of 96.03% that the game uses. The Nudge feature is one feature found inside, along with the Re-Spin. It’s disappointing how little the game will pay though, as it offers only 9 coins for its best wins, so less than 100x the stake even if you fill the reels with these symbols.
With 243 ways to win that need activating, you have 25 lines for betting purposes. You can pick a bet level/number of coins which goes up to 10, while the coin value can reach $1. This gives you a full betting range of $0.25 to $250.
The feature which is supposed to help you get bigger wins appears to be the Nudge. This one triggers whenever you have winning combinations. It will move symbols down, in an attempt to bring more symbols of that type on the reels, so that you can get a better reward. This keeps happening until no more new wins come.
There is also a Re-Spin symbol available, along with a feature that locks winning symbols and brings re-spins for the others. You need this symbol during a winning spin, or it doesn’t trigger.
Temple of Nudges is thoroughly disappointing, and the culprit for this is the extremely low top payout that a single spin can deliver. Even with the Nudges and Re-spins helping out, the game pays way too little to be interesting.
