The Wildlife Slot review
One of the Belatra Games releases, The Wildlife is inspired by jungle creatures and by African wild beasts in general.
The Wildlife will feature the type of jungle wildlife graphics that are generally quite common in slot machines, and there is no shortage of games offering such stories. The quality of the design isn’t too high either, so overall, it feels like The Wildlife will have issues making itself seen if this is the type of offer that it can make to its players. You have a green and dark jungle background image, while the symbols on the reels seem to range from the Royals which have various bugs and snakes crawling on them, to higher paying symbols with zebras, buffaloes, eagles, bears, tigers or lions.
As you can see, there is a mix here, of North American and African wild creatures, so even the game isn’t quite sure about what its theme is.
You can wager on the game’s 5 reels and with the size varying between 3 and 4 symbols, there will be a total of 50 active lines to be used on them. Winning is going to bring you as much as 12,500x line bet for one spin, though that’s only 250x total stake, so not a huge amount. A Jackpot Wheel of Fortune can provide you with a better return, if it triggers. Among its features, this game has wilds, scatters and free spins, while as a more special option you will encounter the Wildlife Photoshoot.
The Wildlife offers 50 active lines, and on them you will find the option to wager anywhere from 50 to 2,500 coins. With up to 50 coins wagered on each line, it gives pretty much everyone a chance to play the game. The coin value can also be modified.
Lion Wilds are quite helpful when they appear, as they are used as replacements for regular symbols.
Otherwise, the scatters will also be major symbols for you, since by appearing several times they can trigger free spins. Retriggering the feature is possible, multiple times, and up to 100 free spins can be part of this feature in total. It comes with a Photographer mode, where a Letter needs to appear next to the right animal, in order for the feature to turn the reel into a wild.
The Wildlife does well when it comes to the features it offers, but I’m not too excited about its own payouts of up to 250x total stake, or about the graphics which we’re being given here.
