Vikings Fortune: Hold and Win Slot review
Featuring beautiful cartoon style graphics, Vikings Fortune: Hold and Win will pay as much as 1,000x the stake, and it’s a Playson release.
Vikings Fortune is taking us to the Nordic regions of Europe once again, which is something that’s been true of a lot of slot machines in the past. Few manage to offer graphics as pretty as this Playson slot machine though, and it really has comic book like quality to its major symbols. Now, while the high paying and feature symbols are excellent, and they are showing us images of Viking warriors, maidens, treasure chests, wolves or coins, when it comes to the low icons they still relied on Royals which come in different colors. Even those look decent enough, but they don’t bring as much to the table as the major symbols. Overall, an excellent design, and if you look at the background you even see longboats anchored near the shore, next to a Viking temple.
Vikings Fortune: Hold and Win will give us 5 reels and a total of 25 paylines, while payout wise it can deliver $100,000 coins in the best case scenario. For its list of big features, Vikings Fortune relies on the wild, bonus symbols, scatters, free spins and a bonus game that will get you one of the fixed jackpots of up to 1,000x the stake.
All you have to do, to get things started, is select a wager which can be anywhere from $0.25 to $100. It’s a list that will open up, with about 15 different values for you to choose from. Line bets will reach $4 at most.
The easiest feature that you get is the Wild, since it’s a substitute and it also creates wins by itself, the standard mix that this symbol relies on for each slot.
To get to the free spins stage, you need Treasure Chests, three of them on just as many reels (1, 3, 5). You get 8 free spins in exchange.
Finally, there are Bonus coins to be used, and with 5+ present you trigger a bonus game. The coins will pay up to 24x the stake, or they can trigger one of the fixed jackpots, the best of which is 1,000x the stake.
Vikings Fortune: Hold and Win looks amazing, has a couple of good features and OK potential, but the 95.2% RTP is disappointing.
