Blue Beard Slot review
Blue Beard appears to be a more elaborate and aristocratic-style pirate slot than most, and it does have a character with a blue beard in the main role.
Blue Beard is going to be one of the slot machines that you will find in the Belatra Games collection. The slot machine has a very serious looking main character, an aristocrat with a blue beard by the looks of it. The name and the presence of treasure chests on its reels does suggest the pirate connection, but it’s not as easy to find everywhere else. It looks like an aristocracy themed title mostly, with its delicate wine glasses, daggers, silver ring and an image of a young woman being present, alongside some very boring Royals. While the graphics are adequate, I didn’t find them as exciting as in most pirate style slot machines available out there right now. The feature symbol will come in the form of a Golden Key.
With a fairly large game area, which has 5×4 reels and as many as 40 active lines, the game will end up paying up to 250x the stake. Before you get there, you will also encounter stacked scatters, free spins and random Super Symbols, which should be able to improve your gameplay significantly.
Once you’ve selected the denomination, the game will let you pick anywhere from 1 to 50 coins, to be used for up to 40 active lines. The wagers could go as low as 1 credit per spin, but you could spend as much as 2,000 credits as well.
A progressive jackpot may be won, through its own Jackpot Wheel feature, but first you will need to collect 2,000 Jackpot Points by spinning the reels of the slot.
Getting back to the regular features of the game, the stacked scatters are going to be present and useful to you. Appearing 3+ times fully visible, these stacks will trigger the free spins. You get as many as 72 free spins from them, depending on just how many visible stacked scatters you have that round. You will have the option to select a Super Symbol along with the associated number of free spins, but you can also go with a random pick.
Blue Beard will be a decent pick for plenty of players, but it’s no masterpiece. It’s got its unique side though, so it should be interesting, at the very least.
