The Alchemist’s Gold Slot review
Practice your ability to turn pennies into jackpots with The Alchemist’s Gold, one of the slots released by 2 By 2 Gaming.
Alchemy, with its promise of turning ordinary materials into gold, has fascinated humans for a long time. This type of science might have failed so far, but at least it’s getting us fun slot machines like The Alchemist’s Gold, which 2 By 2 Gaming has released. The game features a design that is a mix of fantasy and precious metals, as expected for such a theme. It’s got a decent design, where the symbols involved range from images of the Wild Alchemist, to Gemstone scatters, crowns, vials of magic potions, shields, pendants, goblets, silver bars and card suits in silver and red. Theme and graphics wise it does reasonably well, so this is not going to be a reason for you to walk away from it.
Getting back to what is offered inside, The Alchemist’s Gold promise is of payouts of up to $80,000. At the same time, it has scatter symbols, mystery symbols, stacked wilds and the ability to turn symbols into golden versions which pay more. The game area features 5 reels with 40 active lines.
You will be modifying the bet per line whenever you want to change the value of the total stake. It’s going to vary between $0.01 and $1, allowing you to spend $0.40 to $40 each spin.
The wild symbol is available on the 2nd and 4th reels, in stacked form which allows it to cover the entire column. Wilds are substitutes for other symbols, as long as we’re not talking about scatters.
Getting a full stack of wilds to cover at least one reel gets you the Alchemist, which shows up and converts the other icons into gold ones. The Gold Paytable is used then, and payouts go up to $2,000 per combo.
The scatters have two variants, the regular one and the golden. The regular scatter has a pink gem for its image and pays up to $1,000. The gold payout version has it in gold and with a reward of up to $2,000.
Mystery symbols are available on all reels, and each round you will have them replaced with a single random symbol which becomes a lot more common that way. Only regular symbols are considered.
The Alchemist’s Gold can be a fun game, it has good graphics and overall it’s not a bad release from 2 By 2 Gaming.
